Hi,

My daughter is a new Acellus student taking AP courses. She is confused why her perfect score doesn't translate to 5.0 GPA - she received 4.0. Before we enrolled in Acellus, we didn't find any information on the website that stated that AP courses aren't weighted. Acellus offering AP courses (which supposedly potentially can elevate her gpa) is the main reason we chose Acellus. Please advise.

Acellus Academy's GPA is calculated on an unweighted 4.0 scale.
