Hello, we are considering Acellus Academy for our 9th grade daughter.  In our state any student with a 4.0-5.0 gets free tuition to a state college.  If we switch our daughter from her public school to your online academy will it be harder for her to get full ride scholarships?

Acellus Academy is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). Regional accreditation is the most widely accepted form of accreditation in the United States and is recognized by all major colleges and universities. Acellus Academy graduates have been welcomed into colleges and universities throughout the United States and around the world.

Completion of high school does not guarantee acceptance into college. When evaluating an applicant, colleges will look at many factors, including the student’s score on a standardized college entrance exam (e.g. SAT or ACT). Therefore, it is also important to take the time to prepare a well-written college application.

As a first step, we recommend that students create a list of colleges/universities they are interested in attending. Then, you may contact these universities directly to learn more about their admissions process and requirements for students who attend an accredited virtual school, such as Acellus Academy.
