Are special lessons required? From what I read on the FAQ’s they are optional but my son looked it up and it said that they were worth 5% of the grade. So which one is right?

Acellus Academy requires that students submit any assigned Special Lessons in order to receive credit for completing a class. We recommend that students stop and take time to complete the Special Lessons as they are assigned, rather than waiting until the end of the course.
