I've been trying to figure out how the grading is done. Is there a weight for the assignments? How does my kids end up getting the grades they get? Where I'm from, all grades have the same weight, and that's how I have always done grading, but when I add and divide the grades given here, I cannot get the same result. Could you guys give me a hand in understanding this?

Power Homeschool uses the following scale to weight coursework: 

Lesson Problems 30%
Unit Exams 30% 

Mid-Term Exam 20% 
Final Exam 20%
