The Support link (https://www.acellus.com/support.php/) and Contact link (https://www.acellus.com/contact_us.php/) are both broken in the Acellus app, so I need to know what number I should call or which email I should use for support.

The issue I'm having is that the system automatically assigned the Robotics Dance Programming class to my son, but he's not interested in this class, and since I did not choose it I need to find out how to remove this class.

I also need to get some information on how to add more classes. By the way, if you guys are able to provide the steps for these two questions here in the forum that's great, but I still need the support contact information because I'm a paying customer of Acellus.

Thank you,

Wilson

I went online this morning to address the same question:  why is robotics included in my daughter’s classes when we did not choose it? And I ran into the same problem regarding the links. It seems to tell my browser to open by way of a google link that no longer works. Thanks.

Wilson — I found this article which describes the robotics course as an elective. It is not required. But it seems to be something Acellus is encouraging all students to try.

Courses are able to be added and dropped through the parent interface. See: https://www.acellusacademy.com/tutorials/add-drop-course/

You can reach Acellus Academy Support via email or phone. Here is the link to the information: https://www.acellusacademy.com/contact-us/

Yes, I followed the steps in https://www.acellusacademy.com/tutorials/add-drop-course/, but the Robotics Dance course is not listed in there. As explained in my original post, I did not select that course and it was just added automatically. My son is not interested in it and he's not doing the work for that course, and as a result his GPA is going down, so I need to remove it ASAP but I can't remove it through the parent interface.

We now provide a Robotics Dance Programming Course! This class was announced in the ScienceLIVE lecture on January 6, 2020 and is available for all students.

This class is automatically added to all our students' accounts during enrollment. It is available for all students who are interested in learning basic coding and how to program the Acellus robot, ACD2.

This course can be taken as a bonus class and will not replace any current classes your student is taking. Students who enjoy this course will likely want to continue on and take our STEM-10 program.

If you would like this course removed, please contact our Support Team for removal: Contact Us
