Working past weekly goals

21 January 2022, 13:37

When my kid completes this week's work she goes on to the next week and completes some courses. When the next week arrives, she doesn't receive credit for that work she did the previous week. Can a student do as many steps as they want per week or are they limited to a certain amount. My kid is trying to get her schooling completed sooner.

Thanks.

Weekly goals are optional, and students are able to work ahead of the number of steps set. All work completed by a student will be logged under the "Score" tab, but work completed in one week will not apply towards the goal of another week.

Your student is welcome to work ahead to complete a course early. In our program, students are advanced through grade levels based on their concept mastery rather than based on the amount of time that they spend. The courses are self-paced, so students are able to move through the course material at their own pace depending on how quickly they pick up the concepts. They have a set amount of work to complete before a course is considered finished. Once a course is complete, the student is welcome to move into the next grade level in that subject area.
