Hi! How do I enter a special lesson grade?

Special Lessons are assigned as the student reaches designated points within the course as these assignments do correlate with certain concepts. These assignments include writing assignments, research projects, hands-on experiments, and more.

Acellus Academy requires that students submit any assigned Special Lessons to receive credit for completing a class. These Special Lessons are graded automatically by the Writing Tutor system.

We recommend that students stop and take time to complete the Special Lessons as they are assigned, rather than waiting until the end of the course.

My son completed special lessons for High School English II. As the special lessons are automatically graded, are they supposed to count towards the student's overall grade for the particular class that they are doing the lessons for?

Special Lessons are worth 5% of a student's final grade. Attached to this post are our Grading Categories and Weights for reference.
