We are starting this 1/2 way through the school year and he is bored with the math class.  Can he skip to the mid term and then go on with the last half of the year ?  or maybe even the final to see if he needs to move up a grade ?

Hello Vikki,

Thank you for your question,

If the student is bored or feels underchallenged by the course they are on, you might want to look into moving the student into the next grade level on that course.  With power homeschool since you are privately homeschooling, you decide when to have the student move to the next course, and you are welcome to do that at anytime. If you find, however, when you move the student that they are not quite ready for that higher grade course, you can return the student to the class they were on and they can start right where they were before.

If a student already knows some of the material in the course they will move through that part faster and any gaps in their learning will be filled, since it is fully self paced.

Thank you for reaching out to us, and please reach back out if there are any further questions.
