Hi, my son took high school Marketing at a private school. It is classified as CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) in their corse catalog. How do I classify it when entering his transcript in Acellus? An elective?

Acellus Academy offers four core subjects: Language Arts/Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Any courses that do not fall under the four core subject areas can be applied to Electives. Acellus Academy's electives are broken down into the following categories:
- Fine Arts - performing arts, cinematography, etc.
- Foreign Language - language other than English
- Health & Physical Education
- Practical Arts - career and technical education
- Electives - any subject area
If you plan to transfer high school credits, we recommend creating a High School Education Plan: https://www.acellusacademy.com/tutorials/education-plan/. This will help you see what your student needs for graduation based on what they plan to transfer and the pathway they plan to take.
You can enter all credits you plan to transfer towards graduation and upload transcripts under the "Import Credits from Other High Schools" tab.
