I am trying to understand the transfer from PHS to AA.

According to the AA website it states the following

  • Earn a total of 24 high school credits, including the minimum requirements in each subject area.
  • Complete a minimum of six credits through Acellus Academy, including one credit in each of the four core subject areas (math, science, language arts, and social studies) and two elective credits.
  • Be enrolled and active in Acellus Academy for a minimum of twelve months.
  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Meet all outstanding financial obligations with Acellus Academy.

First Question: If a student did for example Biology which is a Grade 10 Subject in Grade 8 is that Biology credit valid for transfer to Acellus Academy and does that credit count towards the above requirements, for that matter does it matter when a child does any of the subjects in any grade or does a child have to do subjects according to the grades they are in.

Second Question: If a child has achieved 20 credit on PHS which counts toward the 26 total credits for a Diploma in Acellus Academy would that be sufficient to finish out the 12th grade with Acellus Academy after the credits have been transferred and paid for?

So many parents have been given answers for 20 June except me, waiting 3 days now.

Acellus Academy accepts students from Power Homeschool.

If the student has completed high school level courses, these may be counted towards graduation. These credits can be transferred after enrollment and by creating a High School Education Plan. Here are the instructions:

The High School Education Plan will automatically transfer over any eligible credits from Power Homeschool once the "IMPORT CREDITS FROM POWER HOMESCHOOL" option is selected.
